The International Village Shop / myvillages.org
(Kathrin Böhm(UK), Wapke Feenstra(NL), Antje Schiffers(D))

A Submersible invited Kathrin Böhm from myvillages.org to submit some site-related research material. She has provided photographic documentation of a range of sites of the collaborative project The International Village Shop. The shop operates in both urban and rural situations, some of which are art sites whereas others are typically non-art contexts. The network includes both places of production and places of trade, some are permanent but most are temporary. The shop is a dispersed network offering goods both produced at locations within the network and goods produced for the project that then are distributed across the network.
